Center for Diabetes Education

Center for Diabetes Education Both newly diagnosed patients with diabetes, as well as those having difficulty maintaining appropriate blood sugar levels on their existing treatment plan, benefit from this comprehensive program.

The team includes a diabetes program coordinator who works with a trained dietitian and the Wound Care Clinic. Educational programs are provided on an individual basis, in either an inpatient or outpatient setting, to help people coping with diabetes minimize problems and future complications.

The Center is one of two comprehensive diabetes Management programs in Tulsa recognized by the American Diabetes Association.
