Children and Adolescent Behavioral Services

Children's Medical Center Children and Adolescent Behavioral Services are located on the OSU Medical Center campus. CMC Behavioral provides inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents age 4 to 17.

With four specialized units - adolescent acute, adolescent residential, children and early adolescent - CMC is the only psychiatric facility in eastern Oklahoma to provide a specialized unit for early adolescents, age 11 - 14. This enables our therapy staff to provide more specialized care for each age group - children, early adolescent and adolescent.

While undergoing treatment, patients will follow Tulsa Public School's (TPS) schedule and continue classes onsite through TPS Therapeutic School. A summer enrichment program, funded by the Children's Medical Center Foundation, is offered during the summer.

Our team of psychiatrists provide diagnosis, medication management and supervise all aspects of a patient's treatment. We provide a full-range of therapeutic activities for patients including individual, family and group therapies with a licensed, master's level therapists.

Our trained registered nurses and psychiatric technicians provide rehabilitation groups, medication administration and support for all patients.
